As someone else mentioned, you are always taking a gamble when you eat at a gas station. Well don't worry, I guarantee you a blackjack so go all in.
Also, the family that works there is very friendly. They had worked all day and were about to close early due to lack of customers. They deserve your business...And you deserve to treat yourself to a fucking delicious burger. No need to pay for overpriced tourist town food.
PS: you get to add a lot of toppings including jalapenos and mushrooms along with the basics like lettuce tomatoes cheese and onions. No extra charge.
Amazing food. Great friendly service. Wasn't expecting what we got. If you haven't had a muncher (like us) amazing. much better than fries. Fresh meat for the burgers. Just all around amazing experience and meal
What an experience great staff and fantastic burgers. Do yourselves a huge favor and skip those exensive places and get a burger and munchers worth their weight in gold.
We have a thing for restaurants in gas stations. Some of the best gems we have found on our travels have been in gas stations. This was a great burger, the best I've had, no but really good. Great fries and O rings. Super friendly staff and all at an unbeatable price. Do it.
While you're always taking a gamble when you try eating at a gas station, I hit the jackpot with Basin Burger. I had an outstanding lunch here; my burger was huge, juicy, fresh, and loaded with my choice of fixings (jalapeños, onions, pickles, and cheese). My downloaded photo says it all--delicious.
Their menu is simple and straightforward: burgers, chicken sandwiches, and hot dogs. Since you can pick from so many toppings, you get to design your own burger or sandwich. The bun was also very tasty and substantial, not the standard weak bun you get at a chain restaurant. The fries are thick cut and seasoned just right. They also have fry sauce, which gives you a nice taste of the local Idaho/Utah "food culture."
If you're looking for a quick burger on the run, you can't beat this place. It's another one of those hidden discoveries that makes dining on the road so much fun.
